Through this new partnership, we hope to continue growing our presence in the United States, and to compliment our existing services by providing the best SEO and Internet marketing services for our clients using Drupal.Speaking to the Volacci team since Drupalcon London in August has confirmed our shared values of a commitment to excellence, a passion for outstanding customer service and a belief that business can be fun. The fastest driver over all three Days won an iPad2 and each driver who was fastest on the other two days won an iPod Shuffle.
Our session, "Eating the Elephant - Managing a big Drupal project" at Drupalcon London is confirmed for 1:30pm on Thursday 25th August. We can talk for days about our experiences in this area, but given the limited time slot we have available for the session, the key areas we plan to cover are:
- How do I scale a Drupal team for an enterprise project?
- How can I keep agility and provide a waterfall wrapper for the client?
- Hiring: how to find the superstars
- Building team cohesion
- Selling Drupal to nervous clients
We are excited to confirm our commitment as Platinum sponsors of DrupalCon London from 22-26 August 2011. DrupalCon is the event where thousands of Drupal users, developers, designers, evaluators and business people descend on South London’s FairField Halls for sessions, talks, code sprints, and more.
A team including Dave Stuart, our CTO, attended the recent DrupalCon event to hear from industry speakers and network with Drupal experts from across the world.
The purpose of our attendance was to hear the latest trends, connect with potential partners and share information on some of the trends that we at Axis12 are setting. Dave was also invited to participate on an expert panel to discuss Solr Search.
Traditional project management methodologies do not work so well for web technology projects. Read our blog and white paper to find out why Agile is the best approach.
Here is a possible option for creating a multiple field search handler in Drupal
The problem:
Say I have a property website and I wanted to to offer users the ability to search on a number of different fields in my Solr index. At the moment in the Solr admin interface you have the ability to put content bias on a number of predefined fields. Whilst useful it doesn't give you very fine grained control.
